  I was with stomach pain and one very unfriendly Dr asked me tausend questions, and even if I want to go somewhere else will be better because they are emergency. I have asked, what I am (because I can't walk at that time)? She startet again with the nonsense. That hosputal should not exist. Unfortunately, I don't know wich other hospital in Munich can you recommend. Stay safe

  This hospital looks uninspiring from the outside and not great on the inside. But I had a relatively simple surgery a month ago. And the staff was nothing but kind, given they were facing some shortages. The ER is a bit of a mess, the waiting is apparently part of the system (hours and hours go by and you might get pushed from service to service). The bottomline is that the staff seems competent, spoke English for more critical issues (anaesthesy, operation room), and the medical outcomes seem good. Everyone's trying however tough!

  I cant give 0 star otherwise I would have done so. I have never come to this clinic and was attended to quickly. I came in today and the emergency ward is literally empty apart from an old lady waiting to see her husband who waited 2 hours to no available. A man comes in dressed in a suit and even though I have been here over an hour he gets called after not more than 5 minutes. I asked why and the attending said because of his emergency. I am wondering how she diagnosed that its okay to let me wait 100 hours. I dread coming here but sometimes you just have to. Double Standards everywhere but when it comes to my taxes no double standards

  Partial knee replacement on 6 July.  All in all, my stay here was satisfactory.  I was very happy with the doctors & nurses, social services, and physiotherapist.  The meals were pretty good for hospital food.  A larger selection of beverages (juices) would have been nice.  Drinking only water got monotonous after a few days.  Everything being closed on weekends was a burden, especially for patients, like myself,  with no family in the near vicinity. Update. 14.07.2022. This was my 3rd time here in the Bogenhausen Clinic in the last 12 months, and I must say this stay was the most enjoyable. Having the right roommate makes a big difference. Everything was top notch in Station 23b. The nurses & caregivers were very professional and really did care for their patients. The entire clinic staff from the doctors to the kitchen and cleaning personnel were exceptional. 5+ star rating for the surgeons. Fixed me up good as new all 3 times. Food was O.K. for hospital food. Breakfast & dinner was basically the same every day. It became a little monotonous. Drink options very limited. The reason for 1/2 star less. Corona rules and guidelines were simple and adhered to by all. The one thing that was irritating was having to drive to the clinic twice, once to register 2 days before the surgery, then the day of the surgery. For me that was an extra 120 km there and back. Last year it was only 1 trip the day before surgery. That cost another 1/2 star for the review. All in all, though, a very pleasant 5 days. My first choice for any future hospital stays.

  I recently had the experience of being admitted here and had to stay under supervision for a few days. Having been a handful of public hospitals around the world I would say the level of attention and care here is world class. Like any hospital you need to wait to take tests and so on but the hospital is clean, the equipment is good and the staff on our ward were amazing. Very helpful, friendly and attentive. The doctor on the ward was also very nice and answers any questions you have and ensured I was looked after. I walked out of there with no bills to pay, no added steps to take and after a thorough examination of my health. What more can one ask for ? Thank you to all the staff here for making me feel welcome and despite my poor German persisting with it and explaining to me in words I could understand. If I were sick And needed hospital care, I would come back here in a heartbeat :-)
