  I have type II diabetes and was in Bad Heilbrunn for nine days for a new appointment. Time to take a closer look at diabetes, with all its facets. Valuable time that is often not left in “normal” everyday practice. I met highly qualified, careful, empathetic doctors and diabetes consultants who met me individually where I was. The training courses were clear and true to life. I particularly benefited from the units on the topics of feet and movement. Unfortunately, the room was occupied by someone else on two days, so the training was canceled. Praise for the food. Also (or especially) for the oat days. An impulse that I would definitely like to continue at home. The rooms are fine. Nine days are also easily doable in a double room. Bad Heilbrunn offers beautiful walking paths. A herb park is right opposite the clinic. Anyone who can get involved in dealing with their illness and a little bit with themselves is in good hands in Bad Heilbrunn.

  I spent three weeks in the orthopedic department for rehabilitation and am very satisfied with the offer and therapy program that was offered to me. On the first day, my physical complaints were discussed in detail and an individual therapy program was created. I was able to try out various sporting activities and express my wishes if I wanted to leave something out and try something new. This gave me more confidence in my body and learned new things that I can now continue to work with at home to become really fit and pain-free again. The lectures were also very understandable and helpful. The daily routine was perfect for me with active training and passive training for relaxation. In addition, upon arrival I was very impressed by the beautiful, bright and quiet room and by the cleanliness of the house. I've hardly met an unfriendly person during this time, and that's with a staff of around 430 to 300 patients. Always in a good mood, competent and helpful. I don't think the Corona measures are exaggerated!!! In the three weeks, a few people had already become infected, including a lady at my table, and no one panicked straight away. In my opinion, the mask requirement was introduced carefully. No comparison to the scaremongering in 2020 and the really exaggerated measures! My final conversation with the doctor was very good. It would have been nice to have had a conversation like this several times during that time. Thank you for everything!

  Great clinic with multiple treatment areas. The diabetic department is well trained and can convey the learning content very well. You can also get help at any time if needed. Diabetes consultants know their stuff. Training courses are interesting and encourage participation. The parking situation is rather bad because patients mostly only get parking spaces when the employees have gone home. Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter where the employees park. Underground parking is available for a separate fee. Modernization of the furniture here and there is recommended. The rooms are nicely decorated. The tea kitchens on the wards are great. The cafeteria in the building is usually busy and there are no more seats available. In summer there is a large outdoor area. The prices are normal. You can go here even if you are not a patient. There are no opportunities to sit in a café or go shopping around the clinic, but there is a Diaexpert shop a few hundred meters away. If you want to see a lot of nature, this is the right place for you. On one side there are mountains and on the other side there are meadows and forests. The reception in the entrance area looks great and gives the impression of having arrived at a hotel. Internet, telephone and television in the rooms each cost a small extra fee per day. There is no support. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. You can choose new food every day and it tastes good.

  A year ago I had the pleasure attended the diabetes program. I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer had a full whipple and in the shortest of time learn to how to deal with my new life style diabetes! The staff from doctors to coaches were not just very professional but very understanding as well they always had an ear and a sholder ready. With the knowledge gained I have my diabetes under control and understand my body needs. I would highly recommend m&i-Fachklinik Bad Heilbrunn and would love to come back one day again, such a beautiful place

  I think the people are extremely polite and the doctors and etc are very caring an very kind!!
