::As an American expat living in Germany for the past 23 years, I often visit Berlin three to four times a year and have stayed at over 40 various hotels. I can say this is the best hotel I have stayed at. The hotel has a parking garage large enough to accommodate my 8 passenger auto and the family suite was large, clean and modern. There are hundreds of restaurants, landmarks, museums and shops within a 2 km walking distance, including the Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag. The Stadmitte underground train is a less than 800 meters walk for those who don't like to walk. The breakfast was very good.

::Very nice hotel. Very spacious rooms, with a lot of facilities. It's very close to checkpoint Charlie but also to Gendarmenmarkt. There is a Lidl and some nice restaurants nearby. They offered to lock our bags till the check-in time (we arrived earlier). Very friendly staff

::Expected much more from Mecure and Accor Hotel, no response after writing to Hotel either. Some staff have poor English and terrible objection handling, when facing issues, a brown hair male staff in morning shift shows no empathy , understanding and sincerity to help. When asking for more clarification he would push the responsibility away to have me find the other staff saying she s working at night and I can go ask her instead. The entire experience was awful and most disappointing ever from a 4 star hotel. This review is given for how that particular staff handle my issue and attitude given, eventually only the lady with fluent English that seems like supervisor was the only person that show ownership and understand that staff represents your company and hotel and not trying to brush things away and put the blame on others.
