::Great Hotel & fantastic Location! One of the very few true water front mansions along the Baltic Sea. Two grandiose historic buildings newly renovated with luxury qualities. The owners did an amazing job transforming this iconic ensemble into a perfect vacation and event destination within a few short years. Continuous improvements on operations and service environment will make the Meergut Schloss am Meer even better and a unique jewel on the German Baltic Sea. We will be back for more.

::The service was terrible, they try and be all fancy but the severs don't actually know how to do it which ruins the entire experience. They charge 4 euros for 4 tiny slices of baguette which should be included in a 60 euro menu per person. They served us warm water and we had to ask 4 times for ice cubes. Very disappointing experience, will definitely Never go back and advise anyone to not go here, money is better spend somewhere else.

::Very nice historical hotel with a great location at the beach. The breakfast restaurant/ room is unique with a great sea view.

::We had a wonderful time. They have two nice saunas too and the location and brunch are unbeatable for the price.
