We (32 years old) stayed at the Maris Hotel at the beginning of the year. The location is fantastic. Directly at the sea. You can reach the nearby restaurants in just a few minutes. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. You get the feeling of coming “home” because you are welcomed so warmly. We were only there for two nights. The breakfast offers everything you need. The rolls were very fresh and tasty as were the egg and bacon. There was also a small selection of fruit and vegetables. I particularly liked the little niche in the breakfast room. It was so comfortable. Overall the hotel is rustic and has a great old charm. We liked this a lot! The creak when you go up the stairs. Just very comfortable. Our room (with a sea view) was large and very spacious. Lovingly furnished but seemed a bit cold due to the size of the room. A carpet would enhance the room 100%. A fridge and kettle were available and have become very important to us. The bathroom was very old and small in contrast to the room. The whole look of the bathroom didn't fit with the rest of the hotel. It's probably treated a bit carelessly. It didn't bother us and didn't detract from the overall impression! The duvets were incredibly soft and the pillows were to die for. We would come back :)

We were at the trade fair in Hanover and stayed a few nights. It was ok but not the best, there was already black mold in the shower (not pleasant). Where we arrived the room was cold as hell and we had to turn the heating on first. 🥶🥶 The breakfast was standard with no variety. I thought €120 per night was very overpriced.

No personel after ~6pm (however, very kind). Very bad wifi and even bad 3g coverage (took me more than 1h to checkin the flight from the hotel) (obviouslu not their fault). Room a bit cold (I suppose it was warm for german standards, but cold for Spanish standards).
