::Had to get surgery for endometriosis. The doctor that examins you at the gynecology is completely arrogant. He thinks he knows better than any other doctor. He asks you questions and then doesn't listen to your answers. Speaks over you. When I had my surgery the nurses were not good besides one of them. The worst nurse kept gaslighting me about my post-surgery pain. I kept being told I'm exaggerating. They kept getting mad at me for not walking while I was in excruciating pain. She was just as rude to my roommates. I wouldn't get strong painkillers prescribed and had to call my uncle to talk to the doctors. Then they finally gave me opium. I had to fight to be heard and believed. Everything felt sexist and ageist. Because the initial doctor thought to know everything better, he underestimated how many cysts I had in me. They were not able to remove my endometriosis fully and there were complications due to lack of surgery time. I understand this can happen but I feel like if they had examined me correctly or listened to my previous doctors who said I had more than 2 cysts then maybe there would have been a better outcome to my surgery. They tell you you can walk home right after surgery. Completely untrue. Especially with my complication, I even had a blood drainage bad and the pains were so bad that I stayed for 5 days. I kept feeling like they wanted me out of there as I was supposedly being overdramatic. They would twist my words. I said I couldn't move from my pain and instead the rude nurss would frame it as "She refuses to move even though we told her to walk". While only giving me paracetamol infusions. It was the worst pain of my life. I am not overestimating it. When I finally left and read the surgery report it was wrong. I had at least 3 cysts removed, if not more, yet they wrote 2 cysts down. The information on the document was very scarce in general. The doctor that did my surgery was kind and even agreed with me that I was being treated badly and gave me her opinions on sexism in medical situations like this. However I am not sure if she is competent in what she does as she told me, for example, that my bloating has nothing to do with my endometriosis and I am not so sure about that. But that I still got to figure out.

::Just came back from hospital, it was a second stay. The first one was in 2022, reason: ear operation (HNO department took care of me 16 days long). I met there amazing professionals, who made the stay enjoyable with a lot of laughters 🫶 When choosing a place to give birth (2nd stay) I immediately thought of Marienhospital. Luckily the hospital is very close to home + is also Parinatalzentrum, which gives additional security if something goes not as planned. From the hospital’s team I got clear insight how it will go, detailed birth planning, hall tour, newborn preparation course, first-aid-course for newborns (even more courses are being offered, but me and husband decided to focus with in our point of view couple most important ones). No questions remained unanswered! When the big day came, a midwife Xenia R., who was leading preparation course, greeted us as friends ☺️🫶 in such moments seeing known faces is breaking the ice and gives positive vibes. She was all the time with us during and after operation, special THANKS to you! ❤️ All team was purely amazing, I couldn’t imagine, that during preparation and operation itself (C-section was needed) team of professionals, who did their job succeeded in same time to make us laugh and in such way take the stress away. You are purely amazing! Staying further in hospital and supervision was also amazing experience. All were so kind, helpful, sharing all tips how to deal with the situation. The last but not least, after being released home on the very next day the midwife Božena R., who also works directly in Marienhospital, visited us for a first time. I am impressed how easy and comfortable it is to communicate with you. Our little angel and me are happy to continue having you with your great advices for further 12 weeks as amazing support ❤️🫶🤩 I strongly advise this hospital, if I could, I would give even more ⭐️!

::As per the experience, it is an absolute wrong place for pregnant womens. Staffs are not at all keeping the correct time interval for medications, not giving medications as per the doctors order (Eg. Doctor prescribed medication three times a day but staff will give it only one time) not at all friendly atmosphere, blood results missing in medical file. And not even considering patients as a human. "LADIES PLEASE CHOOSE AN ANOTHER PLACE FOR YOUR BABY BIRTH"
