::Super nice staff, both doctors and nursing staff. I can only recommend it! Thank you very much for the good care given to my mother, who felt very comfortable in this hospital!

::My mother was in the hospital because of a fall and a broken femur. After the operation she was transferred to another ward, supposedly a kind of pre-rehab stage. We were told by the senior citizen's office and by many other patients with fractures that they get help from the clinic's social service so that the patients can either go to rehab or get a short-term care place straight after the clinic, as a direct follow-up to medical treatment, so to speak. We were told that my mother would be in the hospital long enough and that she would be able to walk and move like before the fall. Also that we ourselves have to try to find a connection place or a 24-hour carer. The doctor and the ladies from social services were very unfriendly and said it would be my own fault if I believed everything and also my own fault if I hadn't found care yet. A gentleman from social services tried to find a short-term care place. When my mother came home, they suddenly said that she had a place to be cared for, so why wasn't she being driven there from the hospital straight away, but home instead? Contrary to what the doctor said, my mother can't even get up or go to bed on her own, let alone go to the toilet on her own or even walk around her apartment. She lives alone and it's really very sad that old people are dismissed like that. We feel let down and also lied to. No one deserves this treatment. I wouldn't have a clear conscience if I made decisions like that.

::I was at the Loretto Hospital from January 23rd to January 27th, 2024 for an operation on my spine (fusion of L5 with S1). It was the first time so far that I had to go to a hospital including an operation and I had a jackpot with the Loretto Hospital including the entire team 🎰 like in the lottery 💪🏻😁 Everything was perfect from the start!!! the preliminary discussions with the orthopedist Dr.W. and Dr. P. ; the admission the day before the operation; the day of the operation including a conversation with the doctor before the operation, etc. EVERY question was answered and every step was explained. I felt like I was in top hands and as a statutory health insurance patient!!! Even at the station, I had a really carefree package. Everything works like a big structure of gears ⚙️ every handle in the other and everything ran smoothly, without any stress or hectic. So in short, I can and will only recommend the Loretto Hospital for orthopedic items/procedures!!!! And one more thing, it always depends on how you appear as a patient!!! If you act politely and respectfully, you will hear this back 😉 With our politics in Germany, healthcare is not a dream job. In short, many thanks 🙏 to the entire team and especially the team in the orthopedic department and the doctors.

::Yesterday I was taken to Loretto by RTW. I had very severe pain in my back and legs and could hardly move independently at home. The first question that the treating orthopedist on site asked me was what I was hoping to achieve by coming here. Hmm, I first contacted 116117 and they alerted the RTW, who in turn decided to take me with them. Already then I noticed that no one here wanted to take me seriously. Did a few movement tests etc. He said yes, it's nothing bad, I asked, can't it be the intervertebral disc, the pain is really bad, he said no, that wasn't typical of the intervertebral disc. Well. From the sisters' room you could only hear occasionally: yes, the 30-year-old with a back, it sounded really derogatory. After I was given painkillers twice that didn't work, I was given tilidin. They helped very, very minimally and that was enough to send me on my way. The doctor's letter said that if this happens again, I should go get an MRI (they don't have one locally). That same night I was lying in my bed screaming and could hardly think clearly because of the pain, then in the morning I had an emergency MRI at the diakonie and lo and behold, an acute herniated disc. Thank you for nothing, dear doctor, if it were up to you I should go home and take some tablets and that's fine, because the intervertebral disc isn't just lumbago anyway. It's a shame that no one took me seriously and I had the feeling that I was being laughed at and that I was just being a nuisance because I came there. Two stars for the dear intern and her colleague.

::My wife, Ursula Koch, had surgery on her right hip on December 6, 2023 as part of an urgently needed revision operation. This new operation became necessary because the initial operation, which took place on January 3, 2023, in the private joint clinic in Freiburg (Gundelfingen) resulted in permanent movement impairments and significant pain. Immediately after the new surgical procedure, there was a significant improvement in her physical fitness. My wife feels “reborn” today! It is therefore a special need for us to express our personal thanks to the entire orthopedic surgery team for the extremely professional treatment! My wife couldn't have made a better choice with Loretto Hospital and especially with your team! I.A. Dr. Peter Koch
