  Great hotel for seeing Cologne. Minutes walk from the train station, cathedral, art gallery and bars. Breakfast had plenty of options and vegan options. Hotel bar had friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Opposite the police station so you can hear a few sirens on a Saturday evening/early hours of Sunday morning.

  Title: Disappointing stay at Lindner Hotel Cologne Am Dom - JDV by Hyatt I recently stayed at the Lindner Hotel Cologne Am Dom - JDV by Hyatt in November 2023 and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. Despite being a part of the reputable Hyatt chain, this hotel fell short of my expectations in several ways. Firstly, the rooms were outdated and showed signs of wear and tear. The furniture and decor were tired and in need of a refresh, and the overall ambiance was lackluster. Moreover, the air conditioner in my room was not functioning properly, which made for an uncomfortable stay. Additionally, the bathroom was also in need of an upgrade. The towels were worn out and needed to be replaced, and the overall cleanliness of the bathroom left something to be desired. While the location of the hotel was convenient, just a short walk from Cologne Cathedral, this was not enough to make up for the shortcomings. The staff was friendly and welcoming, but this was not enough to compensate for the poor state of the hotel. Overall, I was thoroughly disappointed with my stay at the Lindner Hotel Cologne Am Dom - JDV by Hyatt. For a hotel under the Hyatt brand, I expected a higher level of quality and service. Unfortunately, this hotel fell short in many areas, and I would not recommend it to others. Rating: 2/5 stars I hope this helps! Let me know if you need any further assistance.

  Overall for the price this hotel is good to be close to the city center. The room was clean, but bed was not as comfortable as other hotels for the same price. Also the shower glass only blocks a portion of the shower which makes it difficult for the water to not stay in while taking a shower. Besides that staff was very nice and complimentary breakfast was good. Hotel is also quiet at night which was nice for a center of the city, but we were on the top floor.

  Location was nice, near to the cathedral & christmas market. But i was so disappointed at how the basic amenities was not provided. They don’t have tooth brush at all?? We need to pick it ourself at the lobby?? They only gave us 1 towel… and there’s no room service after 4PM?🥲 there are no slippers available too. Not worth the price.

  Fantastic stay at the Lindner Hotel Cologne Am Dom. Staff were great - friendly and helpful on the most part. Rooms were clean. Hairdryer,mini bar and safety deposit box in the room. Had breakfast one morning - excellent food. Only a short walk from the centre of town and Cologne Cathedral. Excellent location.
