  First of all: I would have liked to give 5 stars if the wooden beds hadn't creaked so loudly and the coffee for breakfast had been hot (it spent a long time in the thermos). The boss is very hard-working, has also carried out the appealing wine tasting and is currently cooking. yourself (lack of staff). The food was very good and plentiful, with the culinary wine tasting and the 4-course menu. The breakfast was rather average. Our room 1 was very clean and tidy and the bathroom had everything you needed. The location of the hotel directly on the Ducal Vineyard below Neuchâtel is unbeatable. Weather permitting, you could sit on the terrace with a great view. Tours of the vineyard take place right next door. It's important for us, who travel with dogs, to be in nature outside of the city.

  Small, cozy and beautiful. The view of the vineyard at breakfast is priceless. A delicious dinner on the first evening and wine tasting the next day. People work here with heart and a lot of love for their job. Thank you for the wonderful time.

  We stayed at LandHotel Weingut Schulze in Sept 2023 for a few days. The hotel is a hidden gem in Freyburg. We found the hotel to be a wonderful place to stay, an easy walk into town. The rooms were good. The staff is friendly. The restaurant at the hotel is excellent. Each meal was a wonderful experience. Best of all was the Wine Tasting with Meal. Each wine was explained to us. Having visited Napa Valley in California, we had high expectations for a wine tasting. The man who presented the wines was very knowledgeable, giving us a wonderful in-depth presentation on each wine. Best of all, he was able to answer all our questions with flair, making the wine tasting an memorable experience. We will plan annual visits.

  Beautiful view on an old castle. Rooms are small but ok. Parking is in front.
