  I haven’t stayed at the hotel but we had lunch here before and it was quite nice. I often go here to buy the Knipp. I would also recommend parking here or across the street and doing the trail that starts at the hotel/restaurant. It’s often emptier than the other side which leads to totengrund, and is equally beautiful. It begins with a cute stream and fields, opens up to the typical heath, then you can go slightly up into the woods. Very peaceful.

  Calm and quiet place, good for weekend getaway. It was a bit difficult for me to communicate with the personal as I do not speak German. Got what I wanted anyway.

  Lovely area, good food, everything is well taken care off, both inside and outside. The staff is very friendly.

  Great dinner, regular rooms. Perfect start for hikes into the heath!
