::Hello, I have unfortunately had a negative experience with the Colombian police of which I want to report. You can not actually say police. Corrupt club hits it better. I went one evening with my family friend to the beach section "playa de bocagrande" in cartagena. We took four beers with which we drank on the beach. Suddenly, two men turned up on a police motorcycle, which told us it was forbidden to drink alcohol on the beach. You have to say that this was in no way signposted anywhere or was to understand. But we believe the two men and thought we just have to leave the beach. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The police then suddenly said things like, "This can be a pretty long vacation for you." after some back and forth one of the two policemen said that each of us had to pay 600000 pesos, then the matter would be finished. In order to avoid further confrontations with these alleged policemen, we paid and went back to the hotel. The money we had inconspicuously put in the luggage locker behind the motorcycle. At the reception one informed us that we did not have to pay.
