::I am a trained nurse myself and only go to the doctor with my head under my arm. And I'm also the last one to visit the emergency room. However, tonight I couldn't do anything else. The norovirus got me. If I hadn't had the severe vomiting, I wouldn't have gone to the emergency room. I vomited 8 times and didn't keep anything in. Was already dehydrated. And then you get complained about why you didn't go to the family doctor?? Yes, exactly, because there is a family doctor there on Friday nights too. Then I said I wasn't keeping anything in it. “Yes, that’s probably the case!” once again as a reminder: I suffer from severe vomiting!!! I felt like a piece of dirt the whole time. The only person who was polite was the doctor on duty. If you don't like your job, then maybe you should look for something else. - Conclusion: no empathy towards the patient, at least the staff who were on duty tonight.

::Today we had to go to the Güstrow emergency room because of a fall while on vacation. We didn't know our way around here, but compared to our local hospitals we found that the waiting time in the emergency room was very short. Maybe we were lucky, but it took us a maximum of 1.5 hours including x-rays, diagnosis, etc. From our previous experience at home, this can sometimes be 5 to 6 hours. The clinic staff and doctors were very friendly and seemed very competent. Another positive feature is the small children's play area in the emergency room. So our 3-year-old child was able to survive the wait well.

::I gave birth to my child here this summer. The experience remains a nightmare🥺I felt the worst in my life, I was treated badly, I had c-section pain and the nurses treated me badly. It was the worst day of my life, I thought I was going to die🥺I came home with depression, the midwife helped me come back. I will never forget how these women treated me. It's hard for me to talk, I need a psychologist. The midwife who helped me was nice and the nurse from Ukraine. Otherwise I don't want to comment...! I don't recommend it.

::We chose Güstrow for the birth as a backup (a home birth was actually planned). Even though we live in Rostock, we have only heard good things and we can only confirm it. We felt so good and warmly looked after. All the sisters were so great and sweet. Even a sister to help with breastfeeding. We were able to get vegan and vegetarian food. In total we stayed in the family room for 5 days. Thank you very much for everything. A great team of doctors, midwives and nurses. We'll come by again soon with our little one in person and bring a thank you with us. We recommend.

::I got Borrelia from a tick while on cycling holiday in Germany. I am a Swede and I did not have my EU card, however it got solved due to Swedish authorities fax a certification. The first receptionist I spoke to at the hospital didn't know English which I think should be mandatory at a hospital, however a second one came later who knew enough English. Other than that I got very well treated. Everything worked smooth, I didn't have to wait long at all and the doctor was very professional and trustworthy. Got a script for antibiotics which saved our vacation. Thank you so much!
