  I went to the hospital for a colonoscopy again. From the meeting appointment to the examination appointment, everything was great.

  In spring 2021 I accompanied my friend to his colonoscopy. He was informed about everything beforehand and I stayed there to wait for him. Despite the appointment, we were there for almost 6 hours... I hardly have any words for what happened. During the colonoscopy he screamed in pain the whole time that the whole practice probably heard. He was supposed to be given something to calm him down and relieve the pain, but I had to hear his screams throughout the entire examination. After that he wasn't even really helped to get up. Since he couldn't walk properly, he was simply handed over to me. After consulting with other doctors, what happened there is not normal at all, as the patient normally does not feel any pain during such an examination. The experience was just bad for both of us and I still wonder to this day what went wrong there.

  People give it a wide berth. Detmold Clinic is no longer what it used to be. I can't recommend it. It's a shame

  Here you will immediately be asked whether you are a private patient. So 2nd class patient, you don't need to call here! “We are no longer taking patients with health insurance” is what you will be greeted with kindly here! What a world! WASTE of space in such a large hospital complex! Shame on you!

  I wouldn't have thought it possible that nowadays there are still 3 bed rooms without a shower or bathtub and without a toilet. A building wing from the 60s. There aren't even curtains on the sink. Ideal for the gentlemen from politics Spahn and Lauterbach. Photo from March 2023.
