  Actually better 6 instead of 5 stars. I was referred to this department for specialist advice after a fracture. I received excellent care from the first to the last appointment. The senior physician, Dr. Randow is truly a specialist in the field and takes his time with his patients. Above all, he explained everything calmly. The hand surgery department is very well organized in terms of the process. All in all, I can only say: very good telephone availability, getting appointments very quickly, no long waiting, very good information and a super nice team. I have never felt looked after there. The anesthesia department and the anesthetist, the nurses before the operation and in the recovery room were really very attentive and really nice. I'm actually a very excited person, but here the fear was taken away at all times. I can only recommend this entire department. I have rarely seen such a well-organized department in a clinic. If I have a problem again, I'd be happy to come back to Rostock University Hospital. :)

  Incredible conditions there... You have to wait forever for your operation and it's constantly being postponed. Both during the week and on weekends. A terrible feeling for the patient... You will be postponed for over a week. That can't be it 😡🤬

  I am very very satisfied. I had a cyst removed from my heel and was allowed to spend 2 days in ward G. The sisters are all very, very nice. I was well looked after at all times. As soon as I rang the bell and the pain was too great, someone came and helped me immediately. Just great people. There is also free, fast WiFi and everyone has their own TV. The food was also very good. And that in a hospital.

  My husband had to wait for over 8 hours. An Arabic man who came to the hospital later complained to the nurse after waiting for 3 to 4 hours and was treated immediately. If I complain, will I be able to get medical attention sooner?

  My wife had to wait in the hallway for 2 hours in extreme pain. A proper investigation into the cause was not carried out. The next day she was discharged despite pain (probably herniated discs). The doctor had, quote, “no interest in her medical history” for the doctor’s note. Actually something for the lawyer and the medical association... At least some of the nurses were nice. THE HOSPITAL IS NOT EVEN RECOMMENDED AS AN EMERGENCY
