::Kaufland is great for the variety of food. Also many ranges in price. But it’s very difficult to go and not spend quite a lot of money. Just I would like them to have a bit more products from the south (Spain, Italy, Greece..)

::Dessau is one of the oldest cities in this part of Germany. It has a long history for being a residence for kings and dukes. But now it`s more famous for the German Bauhaus, the typically international style of all buildings in Germany within the last 100 years. The building of the Kaufland supermarket is much more ... unsightly than the famous building ideal of Bauhaus, but it`s just for shopping all your daily or weekly foods and more. If you know Kaufland than you will find everything very easy, but if you are a beginner than this is overwhelming your idea of shopping, because they have erverything you can get as a food in Germany. But indeed, is not so much like you can get in the Coop in Zurich, but is the idea of big shopping in Germany. For travellers this Kaufland is just 2 min far from the Autobahn exit and you get a chance to tank your car with more gasoline and have a short stop for rest and eat some small fast food in the little shops or food trucks around there. We recommend this stop, just in the middle of the way from Berlin to Leipzig.
