::I was treated terribly bad - the old lady is incredibly unfriendly and rude. I lost my nerves and shouted at the saleswoman she should be nice to customers because she doesn't know them. Then the cleaning guy got involved (overweight, drunk looking foreigner) and insulted me. It was a terrible experience. The service as mentioned is a nightmare. I never write reviews on bakery's but this got me so angry, I feel I have to. I will not repeat what the cleaning guy said to me. I cannot believe how people can run a business this way. I booked a hotel around the corner but will avoid this place at all cost. Prejudices against tall, blonde, feminine women are bad. Especially at Hackescher Market. But I am reading here that there are plenty of customers with the same experience. This woman should not have a job in service with her attitude. It completely ruined my Sunday

::Don't be fooled. The place is nice and the sandwiches look good. What's really BAD is the quality of service. The saleswoman who served us did nothing to help the customers. We don't just talk about the total absence of a smile or a polite word, but she puffed annoyed at every order. Any question was ignored or answered in monosyllables. Even though payment with Cards and G-pay was shown in the window, she refused to ACCEPT it and wanted only cash. At the last moment the cook who made the sandwiches in the back came out and was without a mask and any protection from COVID-19. NOT RECOMMENDED

::Sweets were really good and tasty but the lady working on Tuesday 3/3/2020 at 16:00 was really mean and impolite. I couldn't understand her English and she almost yelled at me twice. Really destroying the store's image.

::The food is the same as from any other Kamps bakery but the lady who works there is the worst. The Polish lady seems okay but steer clear of the other one or, if you're considering a permanent move to Berlin, then have a seat and watch her interact with the customers for a few minutes. She's really unbelievable and pretty much the epitome of Berlin customer service. Ask yourself if you really want to deal with that kind of attitude every single day. Edit: Actually, if you really need a Kamps fix here then visit the one inside the train station. The guys who work there are much friendlier and, although it's smaller, there are almost always more free seats there. They also have a better selection of breads with brie.

::I can’t give zero star because it’s imposible. Food and drinks are okay, but waiters (specially an old woman) are completely RUDE and arrogant. Would be great if you could change your waiters. This place would be amazing with nice and friendly staff.
