  The only issue we had was that even as a guest you pay another 30€ per day per parking. The receptionist gave us an option of parking outside at a nearby city parking lot, but we still consider it very incovenient given the price of the hotel. Other than that, price quality ratio was acceptable.

  This hotel overcharged me during check-out although I have booked my room via Melia mobile app and fully paid the amount before my check-in. The receptionist somehow couldn’t see this info in the system and asked me to pay again during my check-out. I have shared the transaction records and the hotel accepted the overcharge, asked me to fill a form and informed me that they paid the overcharged amount back to my card. However it has been more than a week and I still couldn’t get my refund. I have sent two emails and asking for a proof of refund but no reply to my emails so far. How could it be so difficult to handle a refund and respond your guests queries with respect. I spent my time and wrote this comment about my experience in order to let people know about the lack of quality of customer service at this hotel.

  The reception staff are perfectly lovely but the breakfast and pillows are a major drag on this hotel. I don’t think I’ve ever complained about pillows in all my hotel reviews but this one takes the cake! They are so old and soft and useless that they should be changed!! They have a gym but there is no weight rack, only 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical and 1 pull up bar. There are no towels or stretching mats provided either. The breakfast is pretty basic for the price charged and definitely not worth going for. It is a few minutes walk from the church and main square and there is parking in -1 but these are the only few merits this hotel possesses.

  Perfect location in a beautiful city. The room was clean, comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. Great drinks in the fridge as well! Hopefully, we will come back very soon.

  The hotel is extremely well located in Dresden's Altstadt and is modern and functional. Has a great breakfast buffet and we also had a lovely 4 course dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Breakfast is also very good and diverse. Parking is fine, but I think that is a bit overpriced, but what really made us not give a 5 star was the internet: stayed on the largest accommodation, the Dresden Condo, which is a very large one bedroom suite, room 114. And simply the internet was faulty and weak. This has to be solved for a hotel like this! Other than that, our son was very kindly treated with his own amenities.
