  Good hotel. Room was clean and quite large. Unfortunately, it was not very quiet.

  There are friendly and helpful staff in all areas. Although the reception and breakfast room were clean, this could not be said for my sleeping room. The hotel is under refurbishment so all of the hallway carpets had been removed and dust was everywhere. Maybe a better plan would be to close half the rooms and work on those first. There also seemed to be an abundance of flies in the restaurant area and within my room as evidenced by the number of squashed bodies on the walls. Finally although my room stated it was non smoking, there was definitely a cigarette odour lingering everywhere, so much so that my clothes also absorbed this smell. I have stayed previously in this hotel and I'm certain that the standards were better before.

  Room was not clean. Had half empty water bottles and white sticky residue under the door handle for the bathroom door. Water cost €3.8 for 0,5 litre. Concrete drilling and a lot of noise starting at 07:30. Queen size bed was very short, and my feet were outside the end of the mattress. A/C stopped working during the night, and needed two hours before it worked again. Perhaps the hotel management should be more proactive about customer service and quality.
