  This is a nice hotel, location is perfect, just cross the bridge, and you are in the center. Some rooms have a view on the dome, really pretty. Hotel staff is really friendly, rooms were clean and big, we even got a little view of Koln. However, parking situation and people working at concierge are not 5-star hotel worthy. According to booking, there is a parking available, but you cannot book it. Apparently there is not enough space for all the guest with cars. Parking is not free, €36 per day. Concierge was rude, they wanted our car key, eventually we got an alternative parking option (Tiefgarage Triangle Koln, it is €20 per day! not 24h!). This experience somehow overshadows the good, and was really unnecessary. Rudeness and unwillingness to help was really surprising when you claim to be a 5-star hotel.

  We went on a family Christmas trip to cologne and stayed at hayat Regency for 5 days. It's fair to say that it made our trip even more enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent. The restaurant had an amazing view of the river and the cathedral. Rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. I'd say it's a bit expensive, you save a lot of time and mine for transportation as the location is amazing.

  My recent stay at Hyatt Regency Cologne was a well-rounded experience, earning a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep, and the room maintained a commendable level of cleanliness. The hotel exudes a certain luxurious feel, although it's apparent that the decor is aging. What truly set Hyatt Regency Cologne apart was its super spacious layout, offering generous living and bathroom space. However, my experience with housekeeping was inconsistent, particularly regarding the replacement of amenities. There were instances when bathroom amenities were overlooked, leaving them unreplenished. Moreover, the varying packaging styles over consecutive days created a slightly confusing experience. Despite these inconsistencies, the overall positive aspects of the stay, including the hotel’s prime location with its stunning view, comfortable bed, ample space, and great staff, contribute to a solid 4-star rating.

  Great location just across the bridge from the “Dom”. Comfortable clean and welcoming. It does need a spruce up which I’m thankful to see is going to happen shortly. The buffet breakfast had a vast array of meats cheeses breads danish bakery goods. Plus omelette station and hot meat section. Certainly recommend for short stay or conference meetings.

  One of the best hotels I’ve stayed! Visited almost 10 years ago and will stay again when I will be in Cologne. Wonderful view if you have rooms looking at the bridge, river and Cologne’ Cathedral. Perfect breakfast with huge selection of food, beverages, cheese, bread, pastry. While you eat your breakfast they clean your room. Amazing. Very short distance to the city centre. Kind personnel. Nice bar and food bar . Thank you for perfect stays
