::This review is just for the hotel, not for the gym attached within which is separately run and managed quite well with a good range of equipment and facilities. The hotel itself seems to be managed by people who don’t really want to do their job or provide any level of attentive care - it’s a surprise that it’s a 4 star hotel at all. We had a pretty unfriendly and unwelcoming greeting when checking into the hotel, I think front of house hospitality can do better than this. The rooms didn’t feel particularly clean or well looked after, and we found a long white hair on our towel which, given that both of us have darker hair, raises concerns about cleanliness (photo attached because it’s funny). Breakfast is just okay, pretty limited selection of foods and a hastily put together afterthought of dietary allowance.

::The location is the only good about this hotel. The personnel is rude, the cleaning is not great, not sure if it is even supervised anyhow. Breakfast is just the food from a supermarket, very simple. The room smells bad. No sound isolation, you can watch TV together with your neighbors. Not sure about the 4-star status. This month, I have been to four 4-star hotels and this one was by far the worst if compared. Blackout curtains do not black out the room because it is constructively impossible to close them fully. Also, I met for the first time rubbered pillow and mattress, which is not comfy at all, why? I do not recommend this hotel, noisy inside and outside, and bad for short and long stays. We had two rooms and my friends also are not happy with this hotel.

::Check in: - Language Problems - person at front desk did not seem to like the job Parking: - Big cars don’t fit in their garage and the extra ( empty ) parking a in front of the hotel were not given out. Instead I had to drive to a public parkhouse 500m away Room: - Renovation was due 10 years ago… it looks like a room from 1980… Hotel in General: - Danger of hitting the head when going into the bar as doors are pretty low - Dark atmosphere and missing light - Homeless people and a lot of trash behind the hotel streets Summary: BW Hotels are good - just not these one.

::+ The hotel is located in a beautiful location close to the train station. + There is a discount card available for parking, reducing the parking costs from 13 euros to 10 euros. + There is a wide selection of breakfast options available. + The beds in the hotel are of very good quality. + The room is very spacious and beautifully decorated. + The hotel is equipped with air conditioning. + Finally, a hotel that doesn't smell like carpet cleaner. - In the evening, there is a rather unpleasant/unsafe atmosphere around the hotel due to drunken individuals and drug users (which is beyond the hotel's control), but improvements could be made in terms of the surrounding area. - Initially, we were treated very unfriendly and felt unwelcome. When we asked for parking information, we received a customer-unfriendly response. However, the situation improved once we checked in. - We received multiple messages on the booking chat to check-in or check-out as early as 5 am, which came across as pushy and was not appreciated.

::I had a deluxe double room which was nice and large. Really quick, friendly, helpful service. Very good breakfast options although the breakfast room can get very busy. Super fast WiFi! Conveniently located next to the rail station, 5 minutes walk from the atmospheric city centre. Good value for money.
