  This is a wonderful area and the hotel grounds are beautiful. The food and beer at the restaurant is delicious and the nearby Volkshaus is divine. There is a beautiful walking trail that leads to the forest directly from the property. The rooms are clean if a bit run down - as to be expected for an older property. Don’t let this deter you!!! The bathroom for example is modern. We came as two couples and two dogs and stayed in two adjoining rooms and I can’t wait to come back. We played dress up for one evening with dinner on the property and it was so so lovely.

  This a wonderful hotel & I try to stay here whenever I am in the area 1Peaceful location 2 Great staff 3 Very comfortable rooms 4 Great Breakfast selection

  A huge dislike!! Other then being situated on a nice area, the Hotel does NOT deserve the stars it has.

  Very nice atmosphere. Clean rooms. Very good breakfast.
