::I have nothing to tell about the hotel as I live nearby, but the restaurant is simple outstanding, definitely the best place to eat in the town and surroundings. I am genuinely surprised that this restaurant is just in the Michelin guide and has no star. Albeit dishes seem to be simple, the quality and taste is just stunning, vastly exceeding expectations. The prices are surprisingly reasonable, the most expensive single dish being 31€ is a steal given the taste.

::The service was friendly and welcoming; the atmosphere was beautiful. I actually live just a short walk away. I was walking by Saturday morning and noticed people inside for breakfast. I was on my way to another restaurant for breakfast, but on the spur of the moment decided to give them a try. Many of my colleagues had recommended Reußenstein for lunch/dinner. A nice host asked if I was a hotel guest or not and I was promptly seated and served a beverage. After a few minutes I began to wonder when I would get a breakfast menu. A few minutes later I realized it was actually a small breakfast buffet - likely intended for their hotel guests. Now realizing my mistake, I ate a little and asked for the check; I was directed to the hotel to pay. £20! I could have eaten a more thorough breakfast at a bunch of local places for less than £20! I paid in cash and left in dismay.

::I only went to the restaurant. The service was exceptional being very friendly, quick to serve, spoke English and German fluently. The food was delicious and they have this wonderful green minty drink I recommend 😉. I will definitely be back for more😋
