::Disclaimer: I only dined, didn't use lodging side of the property. The restaurant was excellent! I was greeted when I came in, there were plenty of tables, both inside and outside, and no reservation was necessary. Staff were very attentive, spoke English, and seemed interested in my being well served! Food was phenomenal! Although that had a daily specials menu, I ordered the pork loin with mushroom sauce, mixed vegetables, and buckwheat spatzle. I did however order a soup off of the daily menu (tomato cream), which proved to be most excellent. Prices were what you would expect for eating at a restaurant located at a hotel, but for all of the above, 2 glasses of German red wine, and a bottle of sparkling water, my total was around €33 ($36.70 at the time of this posting). Parking was a bit confusing as the hotel had around 4 parking spots immediately as you pull into the property, but more parking was available, if not made clear by the proprietors. However, the spots at the main entrance, along with the additional parking elsewhere on the property was plenty for this mid summer season. The location seems a bit off the beaten path, but don't let that fool you.

::Beautiful hotel and very cute! They were kind enough to let me check in early and my room was very clean and spacious! No a/c (but not needed in May) and finding it was a bit difficult but they have guest parking. The restaurant has a deer steak to DIE FOR. All of the food was amazing! The complimentary breakfast even had eggs made to order! And fresh coffee! 10/10 would stay and eat here again!

::Had a wonderful breakfast. I did not stay in a room but based on what I experienced I am sure they are great. Staff was very nice and would recommend anyone looking for a place to stay to highly consider this place.

::Stayed there last night - 7 Dec 22. Extremely neat, nice hotel. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Even had a few English news channels - not expected. Staff was polite and professional. Restaurant has a good dinner menu and good food. Cordon blu had veal vice pork, so a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was good as well - eggs and bacon with an assortment of breads, yogurt, and coffee. Nice location near both bases. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Overall great experience. Many thanks to the owner and staff.

::Ordered lunch to go for our anniversary - even boxed up, the presentation was lovely! And the flavor - oh my - so delicious! As one who can’t eat gluten, what a delight to find a restaurant with a dedicated GF restaurant and to enjoy CROQUETTES, which I haven’t been able to eat for the past two years. And that CHEESECAKE - just wow! Whatever you’re doing in that kitchen, keep it up!
