::Rooms are clean and the staff is more o less friendly. But only one employee can speak English Breakfast: average A bit oldy, need to be renovated.. Worst: I was charged 140€ per night, double room, one person. Result of the combination between Booking and the property. Be careful with that The bell tower is next to the hotel. Every quarter sounds!! And bells party six times per day starting from 07:00 There are plenty hotels in Meissen better than this Last time

::The city of Meißen was wonderful - picturesque and peaceful. And the Hotel Residenz am Markt was in the perfect location next to the Frauenkirche with its porcelain bells. Friendly service, clean and pretty room, comfortable bed, large bathroom. Nice breakfast buffet, good coffee and a nice Café as well. Highly recommended!
