  Counter staff not so friendly. Rooms too small, okay if you are backpacking or just visiting for the weekend. But absolutely no space or rack for luggage. No restaurant for lunch or dinner only breakfast. For a little more money the Holiday Inn down the street is probably better value.

  There were ongoing renovations at the hotel on the floor above our rooms. These workers would start banging, scraping and drilling above us at 7am on both mornings. After night #1, I informed the front desk really politely about the nuisance and asked if they could avoid making noise that early in the morning. The receptionist said that she would "make a small note and hope that something would change". Well, that didn't work, because, like clock work, we were woken again at 7am to construction work today. Ideally, the hotel should be upfront and honest upon check-in that there are renovations ongoing above us. At the very least, you avoid allowing the work to start at 7am. Or just don't allow guest to have room directly below the renovation work. Very annoying stay. Poor pe formance Motel One.

  Hotel room average. Breakfast was minimal and boring. Not worth €16, far better local breakfasts within walking distance. Reception staff are not experienced enough to provide even basic guidance during this stressful period of snow and ice with trains and flights cancelled. One lady was asking the staff how she would be able to get to the airport and the reception just kept responding with "I don't know" without any attempt to help her. Rude bar staff (Simon) - unprofessional and made to feel not welcome.

  Hotel east of Munich inner city (one hour walk from Hauptbahnhof which is on the west). Rooms are not spacious but new and clean. Only thing I miss (when on business travel) is a small desk. There is a comfy fauteuil. Abundant breakfast. Rooms are very quiet.

  We stayed here for just one night. The room and bathroom were clean and modern. The bathroom did initially smell like rotten eggs, but the smell disappeared after about an hour. The walls were a bit thin so we woke up a few times when people slammed their doors. The person we checked in with was obviously stressed (many guests and the printer wasn’t working) and therefore a bit annoyed. We heard a different employee tell other guests about their welcome drink and what floor the room would be on, we didn’t get that information from our concierge.
