::09-03-2024 I have been living here since December 2021 because I haven't found a new apartment yet. I can stay at the Hotel Meyer -- under no circumstances (!) -- recommend! The * was for the beautiful nature around it! in detail: -deafening noise from the B 506, which is only ten meters away the window front and in the summer from motorcycles and Sports car is used as a race track. -hot shower water only between 6 and 8 a.m., sometimes no hot water at all! -If there is frost, the room temperature is only 16 degrees, use a radiator essential -unexplained power outages, sometimes several times a day. often in winter! -Rain coming through the ceiling (neighboring room) -The heating went out for weeks (neighboring room) -When using the stove the fuse pops out and the stove no longer works usable (neighboring room) not resolved despite complaint - No basic cleaning of the hallway, stairwell and etc. for weeks washroom -Frequently pungent smell of detergent throughout Building - In winter, mice or rats run behind the frost when it's frosty Wood paneling and across the ceiling. Through this problematic situation to sleep at night! -no social skills when dealing with entitled people Complaints from hotel guests!

::Totally nice hostess who leaves no stone unturned to help. The room was cozy, if you like the old Bergisch style, this is the place for you. Unfortunately we couldn't eat there that day, but the bus connection to the town was quite good.

::The idyllic hotel is highly recommended if you take a double room. Unfortunately, I advise against the single room (according to the homepage there are two in total) because my single room had an old gray carpet (not renovated as nicely as the double rooms) and it had several indefinable stains. The cobwebs in the corners and the incredibly old furniture didn't really add any value to the room. However, the bed and bathroom were very well maintained and clean. So if you book a nice double room, I can only recommend the Hotel Meyer. Great breakfast, nice restaurant and very nice staff. (Pictures attached)
