  Interesting hotel, unfortunately I had a roof room with a glass house which looked nice but was very warm.

  Superb. Been here fairly regularly for the past 12 years. Always a special occasion place, never disappoints.

  Very good food but it’s a country side restaurant. We went there for dinner on a Friday night (the brunch on the weekends is supposed to be also very good) The restaurant is very old fashion with old furniture, lamps that I had last seen in my grandma’s house 25 years ago. It’s all a bit dark but not uncomfortable. The waitress was nice and waiting time was not too bad but the service is not comparable with a good restaurant in a bigger city. Whine was serves in the water glasses that were already on the. The table was set for 4 people and since we were only two you would think that the rest would be removed but I guess the waitress did not want the extra work. Some other minor things could have been better but all in all little imperfections that don’t really matter. Coming to the important part and that is the food. The food is really the reason why I mention the imperfections in service at all because if you just considered the quality of the food this is one of the best restaurants around in this area. I have only been there 3 times over the past 2 years but the food was exceptional every single time. The amount is good, even a bit too much for my taste especially the dessert. Given the price is higher than in the standard tavern in the next village but compared to restaurant in any city that serves same quality food I even find it inexpensive.
