::I’ve been here for dinner twice. Both my child and I enjoyed the meal with salmon very much. The waiters were patient and kind. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Hinterzarten.

::Okay rooms, weird front desk hours, absolute nightmare dining experience. 3.5 hours from soup to dessert. Mediocre food. Take a hard pass on the restaurant and eat elsewhere.

::Adequate for an overnight break in a long drive home, but not somewhere I'd rush back to. Room was large and quiet which was appreciated ,and yes, somewhat dated but ok. Breakfast was good. Location was a but strange, we went for a walk around the town and saw the train station and the church, then retired early to bed. The area seems to be heavily centred around skiing and hiking.
