  We went to the restaurant (from Penzberg). It was not that expensive and good quality. I ordered a salad because I wasn't much hungry. I was surprised that the pumpkin was RAW. It cost 19€, a salad and a beer.

  Interesting hotel, very nice in common. But, they didn't change towels every day and how did they get name: "4 stars hotel"...without mini fridge in the room? Everything else was excellent, especially food 👉🏻

  What a lovely spot this is. A picturesque hotel in a picturesque village in Bavaria. I was here on business for a couple of nights. All the staff I met were in traditional dress, very helpful and friendly - directing me to where my colleagues were seated as soon as they saw me, offering to refill glasses as soon as they were nearly empty etc. Everyone spoke English, well, whereas, like most Brits, I can just about order beer in German. The food was great. No matter what people ate, it was excellent. Breakfast is typical German fare, so a boiled egg is all there is cooked but the range of alternatives was significant and there were plenty of pastries. If you're a tourist, it's recommended. If you're in the area on business, it's recommended.

  We went here to get a bear and some cake after a hiking tour to the nearby mountain. We only sat in the Biergarten for that which is lovely. The cakes were also very nice and the prices reasonable.

  Great wooden interior. The staff was nice and welcoming and the food great. Had a really good time at the restaurant. I'd recommend the Holzer-Steak.
