  Good breakfast at a reasonable price, our bath had only a bathtub with a handheld showerhead without a curtain. Our room was large and had three big windows, a lot of light. Good bed, I slept well. Friendly night staff, had a good chat. Still, not 4* in my book.

  Booked the hotel because of its 4 stars and the good votings. But some it turned out to be misleading. The hotel itself is somehow historical and the public rooms look great. Rooms: I could see quite a few rooms. Most of them had a strange setup. When you enter the room/apartment you are.in the middle if your bathroom/toilet. Kind of strange. And, there is no door between your toilet and the bedroom. So, as a couple you really need to be a familiar with each other... 😏😉 The interior is a bit kinky. Glass table, glass lamps, white floor.. The big big thing is; NO AIR-CONDITIONING!!! and if you open the window you will hear Party people until 3 or 5 in the morning. 4 star and no air-conditioning? Service: it's a bit rough 😎 but I think they don't mean it that way. For example: first thing we've heared when checking in: "you booked without breakfast!" Please check the pictures for further impressions

  Not 4-star. The first room we were given had a bathroom that was open into the living room. So basically no privacy doing nr 2, which the staff ensured me was "normal". Then we got a very warm room instead, that was unclean and with a couch that was 10-15 years past its due date. Would not stay again, and can't recommend.

  Exceptional hotel in the heart of Bamberg. Placed in a historical building it has a nice classical flair in the public areas and stairway. Yet, the rooms are large and well equipped with modern interior. The breakfast very good. There is a parking garage underneath the hotel with direct elevator access. The personell is kind, well trained and very helpful. I think one of the best places to stay and discover this beautiful small town.

  Loved this hotel! It's small, and old but in a good way. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Centrally located to most of the sites we wanted to visit. The breakfast (included in rate) was very nice! Clean, modern bathroom, fair rates.
