  I know this chain of restaurants, I visited them in Munich - the food is excellent, German classics. So I went to Regensburg, knowing that everything would be at the highest level. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the service, my friend and I were simply ignored. The waitress brought the menu in German, I politely asked the waitress to bring the menu in English. Without even listening to my question I was waved at dismissively and sharply answered "No". And the next 20 minutes no one came to us. We immediately left this restaurant

  6 of us dined at 1:00PM. It was busy and there were many locals enjoying lunch. 6 Americans and one who spoke a bit of German. The menus are in German and the waitresses have a little understanding of English. A great place to eat with a fantastic atmosphere! The Schweinhäxe was fantastic and the beer was great. Best sauerkraut and noodles and gravy. I highly recommend!

  We loved our waitress- she was wonderful- excellent service. She “didn’t know a lot of English” yet her knowledge of another language is superior to our knowledge of the German language. We walked right in- picked a table and enjoyed. Goulash dish and Pork dish were both delicious and there was ample food. We also had side salads and of course the beer was amazing. No room for dessert and the perfect stop while walking around Regensburg.

  No credit card 💳 but otherwise GREAT EXPERIENCE, great beer, local food, normal prices. Worth a visit!
