  Great location. In the middle of woods, next to a monument and with clear view of the big Eisenach Castle. The location is right for people seeking peace and quiet. Not for the party-seekers ;)

  Update 20. Mai 2020: We attended yesterday again - for the first time after the (first?) Corona-shutdown - the restaurant. Sitting in the bright sunshine on the terrace we enjoyed the excellent meal. The quality of the food (escalope with asparagus) was - as usual for this place - brilliant. The service was ok. The view toward Wartburg castle overwhelming! Summary: The perfect place! Before the Corona shutdown: One week ago: Food was excellent, service pretty mediocre and not very friendly, room overheated! We were offered a really dangerous small table while the room was almost empty!

  Very delicious food with an awesome view to Wartburg castle and Burschenschaft monument. Specially for sunny days a nice spot to sit outside at the terrace. Medium to high price category.

  Very good dishes well prepared. Sevice was prompted and fast We pay for starters main dish and sweet+2 bottles of vin 42€per person

  Went there for a wedding. The food and service were excellent. The location is amazingly located. WiFi coverage is also very good. The rooms are not oversized but comfortable and very clean.
