  This place is magnificent with outstanding customer service and, great breakfast! We just left and I already want to come back! The hotel matches the magic vibes of the city, seems like you're staying in a castle!

  This hotel has it all! A family hotel with a friendly and professional staff and all of the modern amenities. The attention to detail is impressive and the owner serves some of the best Apfel Strudel and coffee in Rothenburg. If staying in a medieval castle is one of your dreams, this is the place for you. The location is central to everything. This may be my favorite hotel ever!

  What a beautiful hotel! The original building dates to 1285 (!) and it has been carefully and beautifully modernized in a way that shows its historic character while providing modern amenities. The location is perfect, not far from the main square and an easy walk to the main sights in town. We stayed in room 22, which is huge and beautiful and sparkling clean. The bathroom was gigantic and the shower was great. We slept well and had everything we needed. The elevator was very convenient. The included station was generous and delicious, including eggs cooked to order. The staff is very kind and professional. This is a great place to stay in a beautiful town.

  Stumbled upon this historic cafe which is a part of a hotel. We had hot chocolate and apple strudel and everything tasted great! Service was nice and they also had english menu.

  Staying in this historic hotel is an unforgettable experience. The attention to detail is amazing. The way they've incorporated the new with the old is impressive. We were thoroughly satisfied and would definitely stay here again.
