::The room was good enough. It had a nice view and the room was clean. The only bad thing I can say about it is the bed. I felt a bit of stress on my lower back when I woke up so if you have back problems I wouldn't recommend this place. The breakfast is pretty limited but decent.

::I just recently visited Hannover first time for Hannover Messe 2022. This hotel turned out more than a great choice. - Breakfast is included, and nutritious and delicious. - Great location, 20- min walk to Celle downtown or train station, 45 mins train directly to Messe. - The hotel owner is really helpful! My return flight was cancelled last minus and I have an international flight to catch at Frankfurt that afternoon. The hotel owner helped me to figure out the train option and even drove me to the Celle train station by himself! Highly recommended!

::This is a decent, well located hotel in a nice city. My experience here was mixed. My son and I booked a 30 square metre room with three beds. Our first impression was good as the lobby and bar/breakfast area as well as the restaurant look very new. Our room was in the main building on the second floor looking out to the street. The room itself made a very clean impression with all the amenities of a three star hotel (soap in plastic wrappers, shampoo in little bottles, etc.). My impression of the room in total was that it was in dire need of a few renovations with the carpet looking very worn and extension cords being necessary due to the lack of electrical outlets. The windows had yellow shades for darkening purposes that were very ineffective. It was because of the brightness in our room that we chose to only stay one night; my son and I are both used to very dark bedrooms and the light was a real problem for us. As well the noise from the street- even with the windows closed- was bothersome. I guess that is what you get for being in the city. We had originally booked two nights but, because the manager was so nice, we were able to cancel on short notice after I explained our sleeping problems. He assured me that the room is next on the list for new windows and blinds that will keep all of the light out. I only saw the one room but I believe the other rooms in the hotel have the German „Rollos“(the blinds that keep all the light out and look like they could guard against nuclear fallout). I can’t comment on them. I have given the hotel 4 stars because of the way in which the manager/owner handled my situation and because of the great breakfast that is included. There is a supermarket just 800 metres away and the hotel offers free public transportation to it’s guests. I hope this is helpful and you give the hotel a try. Just ask for a room with „Rollos“!;)

::Hotel Heide Koenig, Celle - Dear owner and employees, Many Thanks for the very pleasant stay at your Hotel - Positively surprised when entering the reception area - the check in went very smooth, inclusive being guided to the rooms by the receptionist. The room - a 3 bedroom - was spacious, top level cleanliness, the beds so fine decorated by such special arrangements of pillows and towels. The second night, we additionally had a 2 bed room - equally very impressive, spacious - and same high level of cleanliness as the other room. Bathroom facilities in both rooms excellent, spacious. By the way, our cat enjoyed the stay too. It was very quiet - no disturbing noice from inside nor outside the Hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent, coffee excellent too - and placed on the table. The tables are remarkable - solid wood boards, with the natural edges of the three it is made of. No doubt, next time traveling in the area - Hotel Heide Koenig will be the place to stay - also due to the free Parking area very convenient with easy access to the Hotel. Many Thanks Bjarne Skaarup-Joergensen, Denmark.

::Stayed at the Heidekönig in August 2018, 4 adults and 2 small children. Good service, nice rooms and good food in the restaurant. The hotel is close to the centre of town and the railway station. Plenty of free parking if you come by car. Recommended and I would stay there again!
