  The hotel is very close to the city center. Especially the coffee was excellent. The breakfast was also very varied and good. It is an average hotel except that there are no slippers in the room.

  Would not recommend for non smokers as people smoke on balconies and the smoke wafts. Stayed for 2 nights. Carpark gets crowded after 5 pm so be quick otherwise a lengthy walk around to reception and very lang hallways to transverse. Room very dated but clean. Toilet was extremely low on the ground. No mini bar/fridge. Kettle can be provided upon request. Hotel reminds me of an old East German multi-storey apartment block even though Goslar is in the West. Breakfast buffet ok but not Covid safe. Coffee drinkable. But lots of flies hovering around the coffee machines the two mornings we were there, and the meats and cheeses were not covered. I found that off putting, and the dining room interior was dark and depressing. Hotel in need of a re-vamp. Staff friendly.

  Good value hotel. The location is very nice and quiet. There is a playground, football field nearby, so ideal for children. City center (very nice) within walking distance, or take the bus 50 metres from the hotel directly to the central station. The spacious room with balcony was nice but not impressive. The same can be said about the breakfast. Unfortunately the covid-19 restrictions made the breakfast experience stressful due to the limited capacity.

  Very pleasant hotel, with friendly and professional staff. Our children very much enjoyed the swimming pool. We also found the recreational and sport areas very pleasant and never overcrowded. The breakfast was diverse. From the room we could get directly in the garden, which I found practical for the needs of the children.

  Nice hotel mostly for old people, Sauna was cool, overall nice. Location is out of the center but it is a small city, 3 minutes by car from the beautiful old town. Our room was right in front of the parking lot which was kind of weird... So we had to keep our curtains down all the time to avoid strange looks. The breakfast buffet was the main reason we booked, but it was bad, they obviously use the cheapest vegetables (tasteless, even for German standard) and the there were fruites that were cut 1 week ago... kindda bad. Overall ok if you just come to explore the beautiful Harz.
