  Pretty decent hotel for the price, but nothing too crazy. - Okay breakfast. - Decent furniture and bed. - Relatively clean. - Okay Wi-Fi.

  Close to Lübeck with good public transport connections to the centre. Nicely furnished and decorated. Staff were extremely helpful, even providing a bucket of water for checking a punctured bicycle tyre. The hotel is situated on a main road which can lead to quite a bit of noise at busy times when the window is fully open, although the room is silent when the window is closed.

  This hotel has clearly some issues. The rooms are quite clearly not cleaned. The sheets were clean the towels were clean but there was dust literally everywhere. I had crumbs on the table from the previous guest. The rooms are outdated. The double bed had two mattresses of different thicknesses. The room is warm and opening the window lets in the noise of the very busy road outside. The last thing is the price, I paid 140 euros for a double room which is just ridiculous. The manager obviously has no respect for his or her paying guests. But the hotel was fully booked so why should they care. This hotel reflects badly on the Golden Tulip chain, I suspect I will not stay at this chain again. Life is too short for this type of hotel.

  Give a extra star for arriving late and have wrong dates on booking, they solved rooms anyways for some extra amount, and also help canceled the booking from 3rd party site with no charge. Rooms was quite simple, 3 beds no Air Condition, and having room open was not an option with bars outside and heavy traffic with cars racing during nite time.

  Rooms are functional. My room had a fridge that does not work. The shower is good and the bed comfortable. Breakfast is reasonable with good regular options. If you are vegetarian fine vegan limited. WiFi is rubbish. Keeps dropping out. It turns off before midnight. Not a first world problem. Irritating and unnecessary in 2022. Emails downloads video call all impossible with this level of internet quality. Oh and they ask you to pay on arrival not when you leave. A first for me. Stay here if other options not available. Plan B- at best. Look for somewhere else if you can
