::This bank, which is neither social nor handicapped accessible, is a long-term catastrophe. 😡 Untrained call center employees actually managed to give a total of 3 blatantly false pieces of information within 5 minutes, which in turn resulted in my PIN being blocked. After the time-consuming process of sending an unlocking pin by post, it doesn't even work because the failed attempts made by the two call center employees by incorrectly and repeatedly asking to enter the telephone banking pin (instead of the actually required online banking pin) are still saved. This bank is neither socially nor handicapped accessible and is therefore not recommended. People who rely on social benefits have been rejected as customers for a very long time. The branches, which are already sparse, are only open to wealthy people who have enough wealth to be able to invest it profitably with the GLS Bank. That's explaining everything. The impossible authentication procedure with the need for up to 10 digit aliases, VR-Netkey, online banking pin, bank card pin, telephone banking pin, TAN, bank card number, account number, IBAN etc. pp. Having to remember is anything but barrier-free for people with severe disabilities.😡

::No star would be more accurate than 1 star. We tried to cancel the account over six months ago. On the one hand via the account switching service and on the other hand directly. However, the GLS keeps coming up with new arguments as to why this didn't work and more and more fees are incurred as a result. During a personal phone call with them, they even lied that no documents had ever arrived from the savings bank, even though they corresponded directly with the savings bank and there was also confirmation that the documents had arrived. The way it is handled almost borders on criminal.

::Ethical and very good service. Sometimes you need perseverance on the phone until an MA is available, but then you get competent help, no external call center like at other banks. In addition to my checking account, I was also able to obtain real estate financing very easily via the web and telephone.

::My experience with GLS Bank's products (current deposits/current deposits/fixed-term deposits/savings accounts) is just as good as that with customer service. Friendly, helpful and competent employees quickly resolved my concerns. I think the bank concept is great. The banking apps are easy to understand, intuitive to use, clear and secure. Keep it up!
