  Great food, decent drinks, but don't order a milkshake, it's just a slightly cold chocolate milk....

  Good food with big (german-wise) portions, but the service worths two stars. They were super cold in manners, not polite and not willing to speak English even if we tried to speak the few words of a German we knew. A restaurant in the very city center of Tübingen, an international town, should have waiters and waitresses able to speak English.

  I've lived half a world away for over 15 years and I still think about it. Someday I hope to return to that lovely place on the Neckar.

  Great location by the river and a menu that has some local specialities. They have a micro brewery as well but the beers aren't great (matter of taste). The service is terrible though, the waiters think they do you a favor by serving you - a request for salt+pepper takes three reminders after which I went looking myself. Ditto for mustard. The biergarten next door is a lot better - you are closer to the water and it's self service so you don't have to deal with ridiculous service

  Wonderful place to have a beer by the river and the food is great, too
