  Very comfortable hotel in the old city center. Delicious and ample breakfast, friendly and attentive staff. We have stayed here twice and would come back.

  Made a reservation here for dinner, that was confirmed. After got the confirmation 2 weeks ago and canceled the other dinner plans I’ve had for the night. I’m only in the city for two days and today I received an email that my reservation has been canceled. For me, this is really bad service, as their explanation is it was fully booked, no empathy or anything ! They should have flagged this 2 weeks ago when I make the reservation. It was supposed to be a special night with my best friend that I see once a year and now it’s not happening. I will never go back here never recommend it for any of my friends. If you care about your clients you make it work! A place is only as good as its customer and how they are treated.

  A very well located, traditional German inn. Our room was large and everything was very clean. The continental breakfast selection was good. Very nice fresh fruit, cheese, cold cuts and breads. Our room (number 15) was located on the ground floor with direct access into a small central courtyard that had seats and a small water feature.

  Our dinners were delicious and we had a room to ourselves for 8 people. Wonderful experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone going to Freiburg, Germany

  Lovely hotel in the city centre. Staff are very welcoming and offer thoughtful and warm service. Rooms are straightforward and the whole hotel has a calming atmosphere. Minor gripe is slightly weak wifi in places - not a big deal. Very nice breakfast and overall a great experience.
