  Good guest house. It is not in the city center, but it is easy to take a bus and get there. Same applies to the supermarket, I really recommend buying a monthly bus pass right away. The place is clean and very quiet in general. Shared spaces are cleaned often and really neat. Laundry room is well equipped also with a dryer, but both take only 1€ coins (3 for washing, 2 for drying). The receptionist will change if you need, but take note of the opening hours. Good internet connection.

  The guest house of the University of Tübingen is highly recommended at this point. The four stars are there for the special character and the house itself, as well as the always clean, beautiful - albeit very small - rooms. But it is not a hotel and therefore not to measure with the same standards. But I come - often as a lecturer at the university on site and night there - not to deduct a point. For example, There is no breakfast option on the weekend, admittedly suboptimal. For a kitchen can be used. Plus point is the great hillside location and the price.
