  This is a beautifully located hotel-restaurant, converted from a mid 18 hundreds farm, close to Lübeck and the Elbe-Lübeck canal. We spent a Saturday night here on our road-trip from Switzerland to Copenhagen. Rooms are a little dated with good beds and a decent shower. You can admire interesting decorations throughout and outside the three main buildings. The real high-light of our stay was our supper, cooked in a very inventive manner with products we would never have expected, serving Wels catfish, smoked eel and fish roe. This is why we have given the establishment five stars. The restaurant service had some glitches with forgotten orders but the reception was kind and efficient. They serve decent wines by the glass. Breakfast was fine but not at the level of the evening meal. Overall good value for money.

  The room was much smaller than in the photos, and there is no real spa or wellness in the hotel. There are 2 small sauna rooms, but even these are not working full-time, they are heated only upon request if you let them know 1 hour prior.

  Very nice place with super polite service, delicious and plenty of food and cosy and atmospheric environment in the countryside but close to Lübeck. We enjoyed the stay and recommend the place. ❤️ We can't recognise that the rooms should be cold.

  Gorgeous hotel with super nice staff. It's a kind of rural chic place with the charms of rural landscape but the rooms and service are top notch. There's a lot of small details in the rooms - wooden decorations, pictures for room numbers - that just show how carefully curated the experience there is, how caring the owners are. I highly recommend staying there for at least few nights to relax and unwind. The food is also excellent. The dinner was high class and breakfast super tasty.
