  The hippos have a very long tradition in the Berlin zoo and there are many stories of how individual animals survived World War II thanks to their keepers. With the new hippopotamus house, a beautiful habitat was created for the animals, in which they can also be seen and admired.

  An excellent habitat for the hippopotami. Well-worth seeing as part of a visit to the Tiergarten.
