::Been shopping here for over 30 years when we visit each domweih but being English with minimal German, the checkout lady(?) thought I was attempting to steal a cigarette (?). Every item she through through the scanner was slammed down on the other side and I knew she was muttering obscenely even with children present. I had around 200 euros of meats and kitchen hardware. Felt like just walking out without anything if the meats were the main reason for being there. Manager would not get here to apologise. I do hope that dragon has moved on job wise because she is not fit for a public facing role. Will not be using shopping as an excuse to visit Verden next year and source my goodies in London.
