I visited this place two weeks ago and I've thinking to do the review since then. I really enjoyed the tour in Spanish (don't forget to book it in advance and in your preferred language). The story is amazing, it really makes you time travel. It's a small place but definitely something worth seeing if you want to get an idea of the historical role of Cologne.

Very interesting experience! Informative and welcoming guided tour! The ‘museum’ is a bit small but offers quite a nice step to the world of cologne history and culture.

We took Private historical guided tour in English at Farina Fragrance Museum & loved every bit of it. Our guide was portraying the creator of Eau De Cologne, Johann Maria Farina. The entire tour was from his perspective. It is a different experience when you get to smell ingredients of perfumes separately. That entire set up of smelling different things sitting in that historic room is something that I shall never forget. If you are visiting Cologne, then you must take up this guided tour of Farina Fragrance Museum for sure.

Absolutely great. The tour is fun and very interesting if you love hearing and seeing history. Though, I wish we had some free time to browse the couple areas we didn't go over during the tour. But, it's understandable as there are very valuable and important items that people could easily break/steal/etc. The tour is worth it.

The best part of my whole trip! The tour was only 5 EU if you make reservations, Tim (our guide) was funny and extremely knowledgeable, and they even give you a little bottle of Farina! SO awesome! I loved all the stories you learn during the tour, but you can't take pictures in the museum, and you MUST make reservations. It's very busy for being fairly small. They don't pressure you, though, so just go in to have a look around. Thanks for a great time!!
