  This post office used to be great, very friendly and people enjoyed going there. However, since this post office was taken over by the new owner, things have gone downhill... as soon as you walk in you are overwhelmed by the pungent smell of cigarettes (which I find very stupid for a post office), the owner is unfriendly, incompetent and so is the interior design leaves much to be desired. I prefer to drive to neighboring towns or hand my packages over to other providers :)

  I can't understand the negative statements. My package was there, the process was professional, quick and really friendly.

  With good tips and a friendly smile, I always receive competent and reliable service here. This post office is not owner-managed; postal employees work here. The ambience is due to the post office and so are the opening times. You can be lucky to even have a post office in the village!

  Unfortunately, our branch in Friedrichstal does not have a friendly owner. It's tiring. Since the new owner came in, I've tried several times, but every time the lady was unfriendly or rolled her eyes, and not just at me. It smells terribly like an e-cigarette (but that's my personal feeling). Maybe she should go to Blankenloch for training, where she will be shown that these people who come through the door are customers and they don't want to disturb you at lunch.
