  The honest one is the stupid one. I found around 200 euros in coins in the estate and exchanged them at the Bundesbank. I can only recommend that everyone not mention the words “inheritance” or “estate” in a similar case. Since I made this “mistake”, I had to dance a second time. I had to present the general power of attorney. I had to wait about 20 minutes in a room that was too small for me. However, I don't understand what the Bundesbank has to check in such a case? I go in with coins and come out with bills. In all cases, the money remains in the estate or heirs. Just easier to handle. P.S.: The value of the coins was only determined at the very end. So money laundering is out of the question.

  Very unfriendly. They do not exchange forgein currency and are unwilling to assist. What a joke they are calling themselves the Bundesbank.
