::There is already one annoying point: There is no option on the website to contact discharge management/social services directly. Neither contact person nor telephone number or office hours. Service has been bad

::Our mother came to this facility after an operation following a fall. We were happy for her that she was going to Ratzeburg because we were hoping for a good quality of treatment. Ratzeburg is a bit away from where we live and so we were only able to visit it after a few days. The phone calls in the days between the hospital and our visit were very sobering. There was no mobilization, once a day for 10 minutes. Get up a little and stand next to the bed. That has nothing to do with making patients fit for life after rehabilitation in their own rooms. Oh yes, it's not rehab, it's geriatrics. The attending physician was a disaster and also felt personally attacked by the demand for physical and occupational therapy applications. Things went better for two days with the therapy applications, i.e. the therapists took more time and asked our mother's wishes. It was also bad that the patients couldn't watch television because it was permanently broken. So if you are physically impaired and looking for help and recovery, you also need distraction. Mom loves reading and doing puzzles, but a good "colorful" program can also provide the desired variety. We, especially our mother, are extremely disappointed with the treatment and care in the facility. No one there cares about the individual person. What a shame! It is ours, yours and the parents of your neighbors and friends who have ensured that we are doing so well today. Perhaps one or two employees will end up in such an institution without any personal compassion.

::I was in the rehab clinic after breast cancer treatment last year. Not an easy time for the staff and practice teams, with so many people and Corona. I was super satisfied, great care, the food is really great. I was able to take my little dog with me. The cleaning staff were always very understanding when I had treatments and the dachshund was alone in the room. Then they just came later. The social service in the clinic is top. He did everything necessary for me and I was able to really recover without any restrictions. Martina Treptau

::My mother was in Ameos Geriatrics in Ratzeburg after a fracture. On March 12, 2021, a few days before she was sent home, she (and at least her roommate) tested positive for Corona. She passed away today! There was never any communication or explanation from the clinic. The “case” was processed, i.e. she was put in isolation in a single room and two days later the only proactive information from the clinic was that she had now been transferred (to the intensive care unit in another hospital). Unexplained and not an issue for the relatives: How did the corona outbreak come about in the clinic? What happened?

::Very friendly staff and good doctors. My mother is there for the third time and was and is being looked after very well. Addendum: My mother died there in December 2019. You and we as relatives received excellent and loving care. Many thanks to the staff in the geriatric ward/rehab. Doctors and nurses like this are very rare to find elsewhere. Thanks
