::Lovely hotel with lovely staff, especially the servers at breakfast who were so helpful! Breakfast was really nice! About 15-20 minute walk from the cathedral! Would definitely stay here again!

::A great hotel for a stay in Cologne as it is in the center of the city, have to say that the service was great due to Nina (спасибо за такое гостеприимство 🙏). From negatives I have to note a really bad wifi and rudeness of a night shift staff member (forgot his name, he is bald and overweight).

::Was in room 558 - the air-conditioning is not working and it feels like a boiler room, I'm sweating!! The front desk can not help me, they will smile and say they can not change my room, they can not offer me a fan they say I must sleep with the window open - it doesn't help.... useless!!!!! 🙄 Location is par

::Perfect. And yes with the risk of sounding like an employee. Room was with 2 separate beds and a sleeping bench. Perfect for with kids. Shower or even whole bedroom looks recently new. Breakfast is super! 12.50, but unlimited everything, no need for lunch. 20 minutes walk from the cathedral, but via a nice shopping area or along the river rine. So good routes. Would do again for sure!

::We are now here at Coellner Hof for a few days visiting Köln also for Concert, Musical and Multi cultural Flair and Stay and eat different kitchen. The Hotel is central and around 10mins. far from main central train station. You have public transport around the Hotel. Restaurants, cafés, pubs, shops and markets a lot around the Hotel. The Hotel has 6 floors. So if you stay there and are not good by foot ask for ideal rooms. The elevator is a bit tiny. But: if there is not a Night Porter for the nights there, they close down the lift due to Security restrictions. But you need to walk all stairs up to your room. So consider this aspect in your stay. We had this happening late last night and were surprised. So the third floor was manageable but with suitcases this is no fun than. There are parking spots right at the Hotel and entrance with no charge and on the other side spots with parking charges. The hotel has its underground parking which we didn't use so I can't tell the charge. It is an old and traditional hotel in Cologne. You see the Photos and Medals of the Carneval Participants on the walls in the restaurant. Cologne is the Center of Carneval here you see, feel and live it! The rooms have a good size for a double bedroom. Clean so far. Not modern style but liveable. Furniture is ok. more wood. Mattress is good to sleep on for a few nights. Bathroom is old fashioned. The only thing which was not so pleasant in the room is that the minute you open the window you have and hear the noise of the street and traffic. If you want a quiter room as you sleep with open windows ask for other and quiter rooms. Breakfast was super with plenty of things and variation for everyone and different taste. If you want more coffee specialities so this was offered, I asked and got a small Cappuccino. You have choice of coffee, Cappuccino or tea. All other things are a lot, boiled, scrambled, pan fried eggs, veggies, fruits, chutney, marmelade, butter and margarine, various kind of bread and rolls, cereals, juices and also tomato juice and a lot more. And you can ask the waitress if you need something more. Which is nice and the Best in stay here. Staff is friendly.
