  I booked a trip to Berlin 3 months ago to see family. I wanted to go shopping for pedals specifically. Went to a couple of shops that online advertised what they had. Arrived to them and nothing like what was online "available" Although Checkpoint don't open until afternoon I can't fault the service or the stock. If you research what you see is what you get. I found the staff to be very helpful and more than welcoming. I knew what I wanted and I was helped all the way. When I have time to return to Berlin I won't hesitate to return and make another purchase 👍👍👍👍👍

  The guys here were very rude. They didn't want us to even touch the guitars much less allow my son to try out one. Not recommended for checking out guitars or stuff you might end up buying. We might have bought something if they were friendlier. Very different experience from the guitar store in Munich where one of the guys even jammed with my son--we bought some stuff from there and will definitely visit again when we are back in Munich. Avoid Checkpoint Guitars if you are a musician or a budding player visiting Berlin--or else be prepared for a very rude welcome.

  Some 15 years ago I bought an excellent guitar in that shop. I still use it with great pleasure.
