  Always a favorite stop when we go to Melsungen. Coffee and cake were tasty, staff are always friendly and patient with my limited German.

  Clearly not for foreigners. If you speak anything else but German, the staff will ignore you completely.

  Exceptional service, great location. Beautiful river views in the back. Great for breakfast and lunch as well snacks at dinnertime.

  Nice atmosphere. Defenetively on the expensive side of the spectrum, get the biggest coffee in extra pod (not the german "Pott") or else you are wasting money. The Morning Buffet is nice and tasty but also expensive and the cakes are on the lots of cream and fat side. Also you might get looked at funny if you only order coffee while wanting to sit in the cafe. Service is a bit lacking.
